Vinted Shoppers Express Anger Regarding Size Modifications
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to products showing incorrect sizing.
The popular resale platform has revised its size classifications for female and kids' apparel failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Countless users and merchants are posting online saying Vinted listings now show an altered size classification versus the original listing because of the remapping.
The platform stated the revised method more closely matches similar services.
It has advised users to examine their items and adjust the sizing manually when needed, resulting in member annoyance.
Sizing System Updates
Earlier, the sizes had both numerical and alphabetical indicators, like S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range for example S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Member Experiences
A fashion influencer, who creates plus-size fashion videos, said the change "makes both selling and buying harder".
"Not many brands say XL is a 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, stated items she posted on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as measurements 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she explained.
Necessary Adjustments
Another shopper, located in England, explained she became annoyed by the change as she had to manually change the measurements for "each individual item".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she stated.
Platform Context
The platform boasts over 100 million shoppers, including 18 million in the UK.
It has emerged as a preferred choice compared to resale services such as eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance where an unanticipated change on the platform has faced criticism: earlier, the platform withdrew an update regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
